The second April Client Spotlight goes to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
We are proud to say that we have done several signs for the National Association of REALTORS® Realtor Building located in downtown Chicago off of Michigan Ave. The first sign you will probably see is the large exterior sign, which is a long panel with push through lettering. Displayed right above the revolving door are silver channel letters along with their “R” logo as well. Inside, there are a few different directories. Text and logos are displayed on etched glass, with rod hanging systems and stand-offs. The directories have a very modern, industrial appearance. Their company name and logo is also displayed several different ways throughout the building; there are some digital print panels which contain their name and logo in white with differing colored backgrounds, while another floor shows channel letters fixed onto a panel with a more traditional appearance. Elsewhere, channel lettering in a serif font is fixed directly onto the wall, while the logo is displayed on a darker panel matching neighboring picture frames. A much larger modern display shows some company background as well as information on other NAR institutes. This display is more brightly colored and utilizes several different types of mounting systems. It is also very asymmetrical, but fits well within the space. Since this display is so unique, it completes the overall signage of the building, showing that both traditional and modern signs can exist collectively.
The National Association of REALTORS®, The Voice for Real Estate®, is America’s largest trade association, representing over 1 million members involved in the residential and commercial real estate industries. NAR works on behalf of America’s property owners providing a facility for professional development, research and exchange of information among its members and to the public and government for the purpose of preserving the free enterprise system, and the right to own, use, and transfer real property. You can learn more about them on their website, www.realtor.org, and they also are on all the major social media networks; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+.
We thank NAR for choosing us to meet their signage needs!
